This month’s box is a bundle from Dif E Yo by way of YoYo Zeekio.  The Continuum is a beautifully shaped organic “O” yo-yo available in precious metal colorways. Combine this perfectly weighted body with Dif-e-Yo’s patented KonKave bearing design and you get a stable yo-yo that has insane spin times. You are getting one of 4 available colors randomly. Additionally you are getting 3 rando string packs from Twsietd Strings to balance out the box.

This month’s box is a bundle from YoYo Zeekio.  The Zeekio Vapor is made from machined polycarbonate plastic. It has a frosted clear coloring like the Zeekio Spectre. It’s light (64 grams) and Full sized at 57 mm diameter and plenty wide at 46 mm. Its modified “H” shape is perfect for landing string tricks. You are getting one of 5 available colors randomly. The Vapor has recessed side hubs and it comes with an extra bearing size small for responsive play. Included in the box is a YYZ Bearing Tool and a YYZ String Cutter.

I’m not gonna lie, this month was a tough one. My original vendor’s shipment was destroyed in shipping so we are setting that up for a later box. I reached out to some friends and they came through big. Volume, variety and VALUE is what Ben from YoYoFactory said to me. I give you THE MEGA BOX. The Zodiac with TMT artwork, Airwave, Nine Dragons with spinners, and BONUS A Skyline plus counterweights and trick shot string. All in one glorious box. I am thrilled with this one folks and hope you enjoy!

The latest release from YoYoFriends is something special. This is a new mono-metal designed after their premium bi-metal Hummingbird – The Sunbird! YoYoFriends created the Sunbird to give people a more accessible and affordable option while still keeping the feel and performance everyone loved in the Hummingbird. They started with the basic Hummingbird competitive v-shape profile and tweaked the weight distribution to maximize the performance in an all aluminum form. The colorway is a TMT exclusive.

This month’s throw is from YoYoSpin, I’ve been seeing a lot of what Ed has been crafting online (YYBST on FB) so I reached out and he was very excited about participating and getting his creations out to some of our subscribers.
All mod’d from vintage 1970’s Parker Pros. The string gap has been widened for smooth and well balanced play. All of the cabochons are hand made, and 2-of-a-kind…one matching on each side. He made us 6 different color combos so what you get is what you get but they all look amazing!!! It is a standard size one-piece (no glue) imperial, modified recently here in Ed’s Colorado shop. Design by Joey made for optimum performance. 6061/SS materials. Really just geared towards great spin times and stability. Kinda influenced from Japanese designs. Wanted that level of design but a lot less then those companies. 

 

This month’s throw is from 2sick, we have had a great relationship with Joey since we started in 2016 and this throw is called the Crusade. The Crusade comes in a red and black colorway of our choice and has the Monthly Throw “MT” logo on the side exclusively. Look for details at the 2sick website http://2sickyoyos.com as details have not yet been released. The box includes the Crusade with 2 random Duncan Counterweights and a pair of para cord bracelets for funsies.

We’ve spent some time working with Bryan Jardin from Duncan to set this box up. Although this throw lanched in August of 2019 the Clear Coat version is unreleased and is exclusive to us The box also includes a little bonus random counterweight to give some 5A may a shot.

Imagine a simple yo-yo design with no gimmicks at all: Fewer edges, a straight-up competition-ready yo-yo, AND bi-metal, AND double-rim? Yep. That’s the Tourney. The body shape is heavily related to our 2017 model the Grasshopper X. This was Owen’s go-to yo-yo then, but he wanted something more suited to his style. So we took all the best bits of it and added a little bit of magic to make it something you’ll love just as much as Owen does. The best part of it is that its great look and uniqueness don’t hinder its playability. The Tourney having a stainless steel inner rim actually plays a central role in making this yo-yo fast, stable, and giving it an unmatched spin time.

This month’s throw is from Anomaly YoYo’s, the Euphonious is Full stainless steel, 48mmx39mm, 63.5 grams, Gap is 4.4mm with a D concave bearing with 18mm pads. Ryan and I have been trying to set this deal up for some time. Anomaly is a great brand and both of their throws to date have been excellent. Stable, fast and long spinning and the response feels great. Keep an eye out for more things from Anomaly and let them know what you think.
