Box 61 Tier 3 September 2021

This month’s throw is from Freshly Dirty. The Modular 44 is Freshly Dirty’s first yo-yo design with interchangeable rims. By using one standard hub that is compatible with all 3 included sets of delrin rims, one yo-yo can truly act and feel like 3 entirely different designs. The Mod44 uses an O-ring system to keep the rim aligned and spinning smoothly, even after extended periods of regular wear and tear. We have a mix of C & D bearings so you get what you get and we included an extra set of hatchback rims to boot! Some string was also sent to balance the box.

Box 60 Tier 2 August 2021

This month’s throw is a collab from Rain City Skills & Oh Yes Yo!  When I (Jeremy from Rain City Skills) approached Coffin Nachtmahr Of Oh Yes Yo with the idea to do a collaboration called the skater, he was 100% on board right away. His first suggestion was that the name needed to be spelled Sk8r. From there, designing the yoyo to look like a skateboard wheel was a given. We started this process in the beginning of 2018.

This bundle, which is an exclusive color to the monthly throw, includes a minifig, a minifig sk8 board, a pair of light up glow mods,  a fingerboard that doubles as a stand and stickers and string. I’ve nicknamed the colorway lemon drop fizz.

Box 57 Tier 2 May 2021

This month’s throw is from Thesis. The Hypothesis is a bimetal inspired by the Synthesis with a wider body to allow for even the most perplexing horizontal, speed, and slack combos to be hit with ease. Every cut, curve, color is made with the idea of creating a minimalist design that makes this yoyo just as suitable to be a competition yoyo or an art piece to add to your collection.

The ring fit is the first of its type and allows for the full edge of the yoyo to be comprised of SS rings. This design pushes an extreme amount of weigh to the rims, creating a stable yoyo that still feels easy to use on the string due to its light weight.

The colorway mix we were able to obtain was Mint Leaf, Blue Rasberry and Koi, included is a new marble based fidget from Blue Orange called the Loopy Looper (1 of 4 models). The overall value of the box is $81-86.00, please enjoy!

Box 56 Tier 1 April 2021

This month’s throw is from Recess.  Although our first box we ever sent was a first base we HAD to do it again. The “Dino Egg” magical dye from CJ Atkinson is wonderfully random and adds a great design to a new Recess FB Logo.  We also talked Tyler into including a T Shirt to round the box out at a cool $30.00

The First Base was created to serve as an affordable top performance yo-yo for everyone from beginner to pro! It’s a full sized yo-yo with a really comfortable shape that fits nicely in the hand and has excellent stability on the string. The First Base is fitted with a slim bearing to excel at beginner tricks right out of the box and an optional size C bearing for more advanced unresponsive tricks.

The Polycarbonate Molded Plastic body and simple logo give this yo-yo a really classic look while the metal bearing seat and modern weight distribution give it top notch performance!

Box 55 Tier 3 March 2021

This month’s throw is from The Good Life.
The DGTZR (digitizer) is John Wolfe’s signature throw. Having a throw that’s nimble enough for 5a and stable enough for 1a was ultimately the goal. Taking notes from our previous designs we started prototyping, and a couple tries later we knew we had something good. weighing in at 66.8 grams the DGTZR is on the heavier side for a bimetal but moves quickly even through dense tricks. We find the added weight and shape give it that nice nimble feel for 5a, stability for 1a, and generally feels good in hand/ on throw when playing casually.

The value of this month’s box is $120.00

The DGTZR is quickly becoming a favorite for the team and can handle almost any style of play. We’re stoked to be working closely with John on his yoyo and get the DGTZR into more hands!

Specs:

Width: 44.3 mm

Diameter: 54.55 mm

Weight: 66.8 grams

Bearing gap: 4.55 mm

Box 52 Tier 3 December 2020

This month’s box is a bundle from Rain City Skills, I find it poetic that we started and ended 2020 with the same company and am happy to bring you the DUCC BOX. In the box is going to be the Ducc V1 and the Ducc V2 accompanied by a RCC Counterweight with bearing assembly, Chuck a Ducc Mask, a Groove Concave Bearing.  The Original is a good pocket throw. Stable enough for just about anything you need, and comfortable in the hand. The Ducc 2.0 is definitely an upgrade. A little bigger all around (but a touch lighter) it’s much more performance oriented.

Colors on everything varies 😀
