Informel is his new signature yoyo – Named after a distinctive art form, but the literal meaning of the word is “atypical”. This term represents In Hyeok’s approach to both yo-yoing and art – he always strives to break the mold. Seiji is based on the Cognition series. The yoyo is larger and wider than the cognition shape, and has large winged rims. UNPRLD went through 5 prototypes to come up with this final design.

The Seiji is based on the Cognition series. The yoyo is larger and wider than the cognition shape, and has a large winged rims. UNPRLD went through 5 prototypes to come up with this final design. The result is an extremely stable playing yoyo that is easy to control, push, and rely on for front, side, and horizontal styles.
The name Seiji is the Korean pronunciation for the sage flower. These low growing, evergreens have long stood for various qualities like long life, thoughtfulness, good health, and wisdom in the language of flowers.
The flower language of sage is the core of Junsang’s philosophy of life. Junsang, for the past several years, has lived a very disciplined life for his well being mentally and physically for yoyo. His passion for knowledge, health, and the ability to not be hindered by the modern phenomenon of demoralization is what made him choose this name.
In Hyeok Choi has been a key role in the UNPRLD brand since he joined us in 2017. He is a multifaceted talent – not only is he incredibly stylish at yo-yoing, but he is also a great artist.

This new design, loosely inspired by UNPRLD Corruption, features a light weight for extended play and low-profile, round undercut rims for high stability and comfort. Finished with a blasted profile and a polished cup for max aesthetics.
We are proud to create something for In Hyeok that is both suitable for his style of yo-yoing and represents his identity outside of yo-yo. Informel will be available in stores this summer – stay tuned for more details.
