Description
Recess wanted to keep the soul of the original Joyride while updating the design for optimal performance. They did away with the rounded h-shape profile of the original and went with a full organic design for the new model. It has a comfortable old school feel in the hand, but the bumped out response gap noticeably improves performance through more complex and off-plane tricks.
The Joyride has a relatively even weight distribution that holds a nice balance between speed, stability, and maneuverability. It has a pleasantly light feel in play with enough spin time to push through any freestyle. Recess added a fingerspin dimple in the cup for top on tricks and finished the new Joyride with a smooth blasted finish and a clean retro style engraving.
