This month’s throw is from RECESS. We love organic shapes at Recess. From the First Base, to Joyride, to Vacation, we are always looking for new ways to play with our favorite yoyo shape. This month’s throw is from Hildy Brothers. The Azalea with a Maple body and caps, the print on each half is made from a hand carved stamp that was inspired by a sample book of victorian wall papers. The Azalea is our most recent butterfly take-apart model featuring a smaller wall, thinner width, and wider diameter than our classic Currier. This configuration is a monthly throw exclusive. The value of this month’s box is $35.00
This month’s box is from SF YoYos. The CeaseFire is a shared signature yoyo for Alec Jones and Collin Ellingson. Additionally there are some zip line and poly strings At first, SF just thought it would be funny to make two people who are very competitive and at times hateful with one another share a signature. Past the initial hijinks of that concept, they thought it might be cooler as more of a peace treaty. Additionally there is a Zipline pack of strings included with a bearing pack to round up the value. The value of this month’s box is $120.00.
This month’s box is from Eternal Throw. When the Current was put together, ET wanted something that was able to handle fast competition style, but wanted to avoid sharp angles. The Current embodies old school flow with an organic twist on modern design. The Current is fast and nimble, and it’s organic design gives a unique and comfortable feel. Taking elements from recent and older designs, the Current is sure to give an alternative feel that you can’t get anywhere else. This month’s box is from A-RT (A Return Tops). The Orphan is made with Red Oak and breaks in really well. The thin gap compliments the wood and the custom art of Jensen adorns the side. Jensen and Charles were easy to approach and work with when we met at PNWR earlier this year. There is also a monthly box from Moose Strings. The combined value of this month’s box is about $35.00.

His idea was to make a yoyo that could handle high speed play, being yanked in all different directions, but maintain stablity with an nice wide gap. They paid attention to aestethic and confortability along the way. There is also a monthly box from Moose Strings. Purple Storm is exclusive to us. This month’s box is from 7Yo. The Aquarius (green) and Lobster (blue) are the featured throws from this up and coming company from China. The Aquarius is an aluminum 6061 as is the Lobster and each have their own unique shapes and dimensions. They seem to be taking a great approach to the community and have been more active on social media with trying to boraden their market. The combined value of this month’’s box is about $35.00.
